What is Grades 3-5 Painting?​

​

Students learn to become more experienced painters by learning various technical painting skills. Projects will focus on teaching the principles of painting such as composition, color mixing, texture and use of different materials. Students will experiment and explore different painting mediums such as watercolor, acrylic, and gouache. Students will explore various subject matter such as landscapes, portraits, still lives, and cartoons.
